Need a venue for your event? Inquire on the venue plus catering packages for either location. Magpie Perkins Overpass provides a rustic cottage atmosphere for a casual experience. Magpie Downtown affords an elegant, modern atmosphere.
The outdoor space at Magpie Downtown is an added feature that enhances the Downtown Baton Rouge experience. Magpie Caterers can add a wine, beer, and cocktail element to your event as well, at either location.

Downtown side-room reservation
The side-room at the Magpie Downtown is 10'x15' private room with glass frontage onlooking Third Street. It is ideal for private dining, small parties, business meetings, and sales presentations. The room has a 7-foot dining table and seating capacity around the dining table of eight. Peripheral seating in the room is approximately six to nine, bringing total room capacity to approximately fourteen to nineteen.
During operating hours, the side-room is available as additional seating and open to our guests as "first come - first serve". "First come - first serve" seating does not require a minimum purchase.
If you would like to reserve the side-room for a specific time and date, please make a request using the form below. The catering manager will be in contact shortly to discuss it's availability and our reservation policy.
Reservation Policy: A side-room reservation for a specific date and time requires a minimum purchase amount of $100 for up to 3 hours, i.e. if you occupy the side room for 1-3 hours we require a minimum purchase of at least $100 of coffee, food, wine, beer, or cocktails. This amount does not include sales tax or server gratuity. Reservations and occupancy of the side-room for 3 or more hours has a minimum purchase of $200, not including tax or gratuity.
Deposit: Upon confirmation from the Catering Manager the side-room is available for your requested time, you will be provided a Payment Authorization Code to pay a $50 deposit to secure your reservation. Deposits are non-refundable.
